GORSE GETS HEALTHY

Volleyball National Finals

The boys defeated Boswells School in a clean 3-0 sweep and the girls followed in their footsteps beating Richmond 3-1. After returning from Cornacchia World Cup, it was evident the experience helped both teams carry themselves with much more confidence and determination going into the final than previous competitions.

Josh Cosgrove (TFA) was selected as MVP of the match as he helped lead the team to victory through his outstanding connections as a setter and his ability to stay cool under pressure. Please see his pre-match interview here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C5-kcISLOkd/?igsh=MWFnZmR0a2g4cjl1aw==

Emmanuel Oretoye (TFA) was also a standout player scoring the most kills and blocks of the match! Essay Mulubrhan, Ioannis Dimitrakopoulos and Naby Bangoura from TRGA also made strong contributions to the team.

For the girls, Lauren Thorn from BA had a fantastic match putting up some monster blocks in the middle. Co-captain, Krystina Ngatcha’s (TRGA) setting was flawless along with her strong defence and serving!
