EHC Mixed Volleyball Success

Before half term, the Elliott Hudson Mixed Volleyball team made history as they defeated Whitley Bay High School in the AOC Mixed Cup Quarterfinals and will now go on to compete in the AOC Semifinals! We are so proud of the determination and mental resilience shown from these students. They were able to keep their composure in the tight match and worked together to come out victorious. We will announce the location, date and time of the semifinals once announced from AOC.

Additionally, the EHC Men’s Volleyball team defeated Whitley Bay landing them in the AOC Quarterfinals on 28 February! After being knocked out in the first round last year, this team have been determined to strive for success this year. The standard of play has skyrocketed and it’s clear students have a much better understanding of the game now.

As we are only in our second year of running a competitive programme at EHC, this level of progress is a great sign of the legacy we are building collectively from primaries and secondaries all the way through college. Thank you to the staff members who came to support on Wednesday! This meant the world to our players. Please congratulate the volleyball students and celebrate their success.
