GORSE GETS HEALTHY

Grading July 2021

Throughout the summer term, students across The GORSE Academies Trust have been working hard towards their gradings. It has been a difficult year for most, but these students have come back into training and worked as hard as possible to get their next belt in Karate.

The grading will involve 36 students starting their karate journey and 12 students continuing with their gradings from previous years.

The aim for our students is to leave their academy with a 1st Dan (Black belt) in karate. Getting from white belt to black belt takes around 3-5 years of dedication towards training and practice outside of the karate sessions.

Our grading took place on the week commencing the 12th of July. All 36 students passed with a 1st or 2nd class!
